Responsibilities:
-To participate in Oil, Gas & Chemicals projects to perform front end, and detail engineering design.
-Responsible for Pressure Vessel / Tank engineering work, including perform mechanical design /strength calculation check, preparing mechanical data sheet, technical specification, material requisition, vendor technical bid clarification/evaluation and vendor prints (design drawing, strength calculation and bill of materials etc.) review.
-Coordinate with disciplines i.e. Process, Piping, Architecture / Structure, Electrical, Control Systems, etc.
-Coordinate with Vendor / Client in engineering design.
-Support estimating and proposal activities.
-Support procurement in shop survey and inspection.
-Support other project activities.
Requirements:
-College degree or above in Mechanical engineering
-Good in English language, both spoken and written.
-3+ years experience in Pressure Vessel / Tank design for general refinery services.
-Familiarity with regulations and industry codes and standards affecting pressure vessel /Tank such as API (610, 620), ASME, ASTM standards, etc.
-Perform mechanical design check by engineering software
-Prepare Material Requisitions (MR) (quote & purchase quality) for pressure vessel / tank, evaluate bids, and make technical recommendations.
-A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
-Able to work under pressure to meet challenging objectives on Mega-Projects.
