Main Task:

Design, implement and improve manufacturing systems with the purpose of increasing production, decrease costs and enhance the product.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Plan, implement and improve the assembly and manufacturing system and its processes according to ZF standards and policies as well as customer requirements.

· Plan and implement assembly lines and related equipment as tooling, spare parts and back-up tools.

· Implement engineering- and process changes as well as safety guidelines.

· Teach and lead by means of “hands on”-practicing principles and techniques of the running production system.

· Establish and update process documentation, such as standardized work, work instructions, line layout, assembly manual, back-up documentation and related documents.

· Guide and support the start-up of new manufacturing projects.

· Provide technical support to internal customers.

· Take care of assembly line parameterization.

Optimize settings for technical assembly equipment (nut runners, presses, wheel alignment etc.).

Competencies and experiences:

· Bachelor’s degree in the field of Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering

· Min. 2-3 years of professional experience in manufacturing and assembly operations

· Profound analytical and problem solving skills

· Auto CAD experience, MS Office knowledge and PLC understanding

· Good mechanical and technical skills

· Good communication skills

· Fluent English
