Responsibilities,

    This role working for a foreign banking client in Beijing financial street and responsible for Data center facilities infrastructure operation management.

  • Leader engineering team to manage day to day stable
    operations and maintenance in BJ office and data center maintenance.
    Ensure all procedures, processes, and client requirements are undertaken
    in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide 7*24 on-call emergency respond and 2 hour to
    office service.

  • Manage a program of inspections for the assigned
    properties on energy conservation, maintenance practices, utility
    management, and annual power down testing and risk management procedures.
  • Ensure the implementation and management of risk
    & safety work practices in all accounts to eliminate unnecessary
    interruption to the clients’ operations.

  • Manage a program to enforce a permit-to-work / change
    control system for all staff and all sub-contractors.

  • Provide guidance to FM site teams to ensure
    predefined emergency escalation procedures are adhered to at all times.

  • Manage a program to ensure escalation procedures are
    in place and observed for incident and problem reporting including advice
    to site Manager

  • Ensure critical operations and sites are identified.

  • Support Site Manager in managing any critical or
    major plant failures.

  • Act as point of escalation for any emergency
    situation to critical environment & related incidents (infrastructure
    failures, outages).

  • Provide guidance to on-site facilities engineers and
    technicians in maintenance contractor management to ensure planned
    preventive maintenance activities are carried out and completed in
    accordance with specifications, local codes, safety practices and timely
    manner.

  • Supervise the works of site engineers and technicians
    where necessary.

  • Work in conjunction with the Training Manager and
    site manager to ensure the on-site teams are well trained on all
    facilities policies, procedures and systems.

  • Manage a program to drive innovations in achieving
    efficient engineering operations. Embrace skills development, leadership
    and succession planning for on-site engineering / technical teams.

  • Support due diligence checks and reporting.

  • Support JLL, Client related audit.

  • Good communication with colleague, client, user and
    sub-contract



Requirement,


  • Substantial and practical knowledge of facilities
    management, maintenance operations and engineering, risk management,
    incident management, change management, Capex and Opex management and
    people management and capable of changing them to meet new evolving needs.
  • Experience in managing E&M maintenance vendors.
    Must be results focused and be able to lead the vendors to excel and
    accomplish these results.
  • Relevant working experience in data center and/or
    disaster recovery site in banking and/or corporate environment would be an
    advantage.
  • Practical knowledge in common building systems
    including CRAC, UPS,FM200,low electricity system and BMS.

  • Familiar with local statutory requirements in
    facilities and engineering operations including occupational safety
    requirements.

  • Ability to analyze complex problems, lead team to
    identify root cause and generate solutions.

  • Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and can work
    autonomously, as well as in a team environment.

  • Proven ability to lead by example with strong
    influencing skills.

  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
    Chinese and English.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in managing,
    operating or designing critical environments and have electrical knowledge

  • Degree holder in building, mechanical, electrical
    engineering.
